Seth DuCharme chairs Bracewell’s international Government Enforcement & Investigations (GEI) group. He draws on 30 years of experience in working outside and inside the U.S. government on highly sensitive criminal, regulatory and national security matters. Seth is known for providing personal attention and favorable outcomes for corporate and individual clients. Appreciated for his hands-on approach, Seth delivers practical, effective solutions when the stakes are highest. Prior to joining Bracewell, Seth served as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General of the United States. He also has served as the Senior Counselor to the Attorney General, and the presidentially designated Acting United States Attorney, the Chief of the Criminal Division and the Chief of the National Security & Cybercrime Section in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in for the Eastern District of New York. He also spent several years at an international law firm before entering into government service. He began his career as a Deputy United States Marshal, and after graduating from Fordham University School of Law, he clerked for the Honorable Richard Owen in the Southern District of New York.
