Vasu is the APAC Regional Head of the Investigations and White‑Collar Crime practice at Clifford Chance. He represents Asia-based multinational corporations and individuals in a broad range of cross-border government investigations and regulatory enforcement matters. During his more than two-decade career, he has focused his practice on allegations of securities fraud, money-laundering, violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and sanctions laws. As one of the few former U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement lawyers in Asia, Vasu regularly advises on U.S. government enforcement efforts and priorities.
