During her time at FTI Consulting, Dr. Maurer-Prager has been involved in a wide range of proactive and reactive cyber engagements for high-profile, cross-sector clients. In addition to her deep experience in conducting and delivering cybersecurity maturity and compliance assessments against a range of industry-leading frameworks and global regulatory standards, Dr. Maurer-Prager specialises in M&A due diligence matters and portfolio resilience in the Private Equity space.
Dr. Maurer-Prager’s capacity for analysis has also been called upon in complex investigations and matters related to private arbitrations and public legal proceedings. She has particular experience in analysing likely harms relating to data breaches and has provided advice to key clients regarding the impact of breaches for compromised data subjects. Through her work within FTI’s Incident Response function, Dr. Maurer-Prager has advised multiple clients on post-incident risk mitigation strategies and the implementation of security improvement roadmaps, as well as producing threat intelligence analyses and communicating digital forensic findings to a wide range of executive audiences.
