Dayan Krishnan is a graduate of NLS, Bangalore. He was designated by the Delhi High Court as a Senior Advocate in 2014. He regularly appears before the Delhi High Court in commercial disputes, arbitration and intellectual property matters, in high-profile white-collar prosecutions, and extradition cases. He has extensive  experience in extradition law and has appeared on various occasions on behalf of the Government of India. His efforts led to the successful extradition of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, an accused in the 26/11 attacks, in 2025. He also appeared in various other extradition proceedings such as that of Ravi Shankaran and Raymond Varley. He regularly advises private parties on extraditions into and from India, and writes and lectures on extradition law.
