Piya Haldar is an industry-leading Governance, Risk & Compliance professional with over 20 years of diverse experience in multinational companies of global repute. She has held leadership positions across a wide spectrum of industries, including Banking and Financial Services, Infrastructure, Power, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defense, Engineering, IT/OT Automation.

She currently serves as the Regional Chief Compliance Officer along with being the Global Compliance Assurance and Sustainment Leader for Honeywell Technologies, a global technology and engineering leader.

In recent years, Piya has received several notable recognitions. She was named one of India’s 30 Leading Chief Compliance Officers by India Startup Times and is the recipient of the Golden Peacock National Award for Corporate Ethics and the 2023 Sashakti Sanmaan Award for top women leaders in their fields. In 2025, Executive Lens recognized her as one of the most admired women in business. In 2024, she was inducted into Law Wiser’s GC Hall of Fame as one of India’s leading in-house counsels.

Piya is passionate about building teams and mentoring young talent both within and outside the company. She is an active leader of Honeywell India’s Inclusion, Diversity and Engagement council, an ally and sponsor of the India chapter of Honeywell’s Women’s Network along with being a global mentor for Women In Technology. Outside of work, she is a champion for Women in leadership, actively engaged in mentoring and coaching mid-career women professionals undergoing a development journey in India.

Piya serves on the board of Honeywell International India Pvt. Ltd. She is the Co-chair of AMCHAM’s Ethics and Compliance Committee and a member of the CII Task Force on Judicial Reforms. She is Women on Board Certified by Aspire for Her Foundation in partnership with US Consulate and AWE Foundation.

Piya is an engineer and holds post graduate degrees in management and business laws. She is based in New Delhi.
