Ms. Sarubbi is a founding partner at Maeda Ayres & Sarubbi in Brazil. She has significant experience in compliance and anti-corruption matters in Brazil and abroad. Ms. Sarubbi represented numerous Brazilian and international multinational corporations in a variety of anti-corruption matters, leading complex investigations with ramifications in multiple jurisdictions.
Ms. Sarubbi’s practice also includes representation of clients in anti-corruption risk assessments, implementation of tailor-made compliance programs, pre-acquisition due diligences, compliance trainings, monitoring and internal controls testing.
Ms. Sarubbi is recognized as one of the leading attorneys in Brazil for compliance and anti-corruption matters by Chambers and Partners and was named by Global Investigations Review as one of the 40 under 40 investigations lawyers worldwide and one of the 100 Women in Investigations globally. Ms. Sarubbi has more than 10 years of experience in compliance matters.
Before founding Maeda, Ayres & Sarubbi, Ms. Sarubbi was a partner at an international law firm, where she was responsible for leading various complex anti-corruption and compliance matters. Before that, Ms. Sarubbi worked in the Compliance Department of a U.S. multinational company based in Chicago, U.S., where she had the opportunity to help implementing a global compliance program.
